What’s happening on the farm?

This is a new page to our website and I plan to keep it updated.  ((The key word here is “plan”……  I am really lousy at keeping up with this website!  The most up to date information will be found on our Facebook page — Cook’s Country Connection

If in doubt, or if I have clearly NOT updated anything, please just give me a call  218-780-8611))

  1. Lois and Laura,
I have updated ADA information for you.
    1. Dogs and Miniature horses are the only ADA recognized Service Animal
    2. Miniature horses have specific size guidelines on the ADA website.
    3. Cooks County Connection CAN refuse Service Animals because you are a considered a Zoo and a Dog can be considered a predator to some of your animals. So when the Sheep/Ram became alert and protective when we visited, it if very correct to ask me not to go any closer to them as they perceived my SD as a predator. Email me and I can send you the attachment. Then you will have the ADA link for Service Animal updates too.
